THE LORD IS A SUN AND SHIELD. Click and know why

   

 For the Lord is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11)


This is really an interesting verse. It begins with an amazing introduction. The Lord is a sun. The bible says that the LORD is our guiding light through life. It also says that the entrance of his word brings light and understanding. Nothing makes you more confident than when you can clearly see where you are going. The Lord will show us the way if we can trust Him. 

The Lord is also a Shield. a shield serves as a protection from the darts and swords of attacks that come our way. The Lord himself is our protection. The Lord is our Jehovah Nissi- The Lord is our banner. No harm can come near you without His permission. Remember your life is hid in Christ. 
The Lord is sufficient  in all. He goes on to say that He gives grace and glory. The grace precedes the glory. His grace is ever so sufficient. He will guide us through to the glory that awaits us at the finish line.
The Lord will always release a commensurate grace for you and I to go through life's phases.

Smile! He knows you can make the glory part because His grace has gone before you.
