RIVERS IN HIGH PLACES. Click and read.

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the Lord will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. (Isaiah 41: 17-18)

“When the poor and needy seek water”. “When” suggests that it is definite that a time like that will come. The poor and needy will need to come to the realization of their state. The poor and needy will have to get to the point where the need for water is paramount. In life we all experience lack and have needs that need to be met at some point because it is only God that has the attribute of All Sufficient.
Water we know is life. The Word of God is usually referred to as water. Therein is the solution to our lifting in life. The bible declares that the entrance of His word brings light and gives understanding to the simple. It is also amazing to me in life that some people walk around as if there have no need but help only comes to those that acknowledge their need for help get it.

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the Lord will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. The Almighty God is making a declaration that we need to pay close attention to. He says He will not forsake the poor and needy when they call out to Him. I do not know the state you are presently in but if it is a state of lack and need please feel free to call out to the Lord who is All Sufficient and he will reach out to you without hesitation.

“I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys:” I used to think that rivers are found on low plains flowing but the rivers that the Lord is about to open is situated in high places. That means it will flow down to the level of your lack or need. It shows your help will be visible. Your support will be visible. David said in Psalm 121 that he will lift up his eyes to the hills where his help comes from.
The other thing worthy of note is the fact that the Lord will open up the rivers. This suggests that the rivers were there all along waiting for the right time they are needed. Hallelujah! This God is too much. He is our ever present help in time of need. God is not a gate crasher. He steps in when we invite Him willingly for you that all the glory must be to the Lord.

“I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.” Need I say more? When the Lord does a thing nothing can be added or taken away from it. All the glory must be to the Lord. Amen.
