When the poor and needy
seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the Lord
will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers
in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the
wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in
the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and oil tree; I
will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together:
That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the
hand of the Lord hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it. (Isaiah
41: 17-20)
We have
previously established the fact there is always a time when we find sometimes ourselves
in a poor and needy state. In those times it is expected that we reach out for
help from the Lord. Jesus is our Ebenezer. He is our help. The Lord is a
present help in the time of need. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and
lean not on your own understanding. When we ask the Lord for help he steps in
right on time and does so much to blow your mind. His ways are past finding
out. God is not one to forsake them that ask Him for help.
“I will open rivers in
high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the
wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in
the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and oil tree;” Yes He is the God that can open the
rivers in high places so no matter how low you have gotten, the Lord can pour
forth help in your direction. He will open fountains in the valleys. A fountain
is a beautiful tourist site that passersby admire. The Lord will bring beauty
out of your valley situation. The cedar tree is a strong tree so are the others
mentioned. Right in your wilderness situation you will not be consumed rather
the arm of the Lord will be your strength. Hallelujah! The essence of God’s
word is to continually build our confidence in Him irrespective of any negative
situation we may come across.
“That they may see, and
know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord hath
done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.” Because He is God he will always do
the impossible and draw attention to his awesomeness. You just have to see that
the hand of the lord has done these great things and surely it is marvelous in
our eyes.
SOMEBODY SHOUT A LOUD HALLELUJAH! BLESS YOU!
