Thou shalt also decree
a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon
thy ways. (Job 22:28)
“Thou shalt also decree
a thing, and it shall be established unto thee:” The words of this verse give us rights
to become certified law makers or do I say legislators. That is nice if you ask
me. The mandate is as clear as you are reading it. The benefit of any decree
you open your mouth to make will be established. Our heavenly Father loves us
enough to give us a position that enables us exercise levels of authority.
There are situations in our lives we come across as we go through life that
negates the promises we can access as declared in His word. When we see such
situations it is expected that we as God’s children should make a decree and
set in motion the Lord’s words to accomplish what we desire. The word of God is
our guide on the decrees we can make.
I am excited
to know that I am empowered to make decrees that will be established. But for
the manifestations of my desire to be, I must open my mouth and decree. Not complain
or whine rather the instruction is decree. You know there are times when life’s
experiences seemingly overwhelm you to the point of being speechless. But it is
in those times that your mouth must open and make a decree. The circumstance
can be so bad that you shift your focus on the potency of His word and begin to
exalt the present negative situation you are faced with. God our Father takes
time to equip us to stand up and show where our confidence lies when faced with
challenges.
“And the light shall shine upon thy ways.” The beauty of making a decree is that the light shall shine upon thy way. Your decree is the road under construction for your blessings and manifestations to pass through and arrive at your door for your favour to manifest. God’s light shines upon like the coal tar and solidifies the road you desire. God’s light will beautify our desires when they manifest. The path of the righteous is as a shining light that shines brighter unto a perfect day. Beloved open your mouth and decree then wait patiently for the Lord to bring it to pass. Remember God’s word does not return void. Walk in the confidence of God’s light. Bless you.
