ICE LIKE MORSELS. Click and read.

He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow and the waters to flow. He showeth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgements unto Israel. (Psalm 147: 17-19)

“He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?” Our God is awesome. Sending down snow is no difficult thing for him. Have you watched the snow fall in winter? It is like little flakes sprinkled down from the heavens yet the quantity fills the entire region. Its presence is undeniable and its impact to life is clearly not easy to ignore. I am yet to see anyone who can go out without thick or even double clothing in winter. It is the Lord that throws it down like little pieces of bread. The Lord is amazing. Truly who can stand his cold?

“He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow and the waters to flow.” The Almighty himself sends his word in any direction whenever and wherever he wants it to go. The bible declares that God sent his word and his word healed and delivered. He is God that declares that he sends his word and it accomplishes the purpose for which he sends it and it the word sent does not have capacity to return void. Hallelujah! It gets more exciting. The Lord himself melts his word. No matter how hard his word appears the Lords releases revelation knowledge visa the Holy Spirit so that the word is liquid enough for our understanding. Remember the entrance of His word brings light and gives understanding.

“He causeth his wind to blow and the waters to flow.” It is the Lord that causes the wind to blow. No one can control the wind nor can anyone stop the wind blowing. He causes water to flow in various directions. It is He that gives the seas its boundaries. Admire the beautiful flow of a waterfall. It is truly breathtaking.

“He showeth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgements unto Israel.” This part of the verse is interesting. The Lord shows Jacob the known supplanter his word but unto Israel God shows his statutes and judgement. Wow! The Lord went all out to give Jacob an encounter to draw him close then changed his name to Israel. By virtue of Jacob’s encounter and past experiences, the Lord no longer expected certain levels of ignorance as Israel grew in the knowledge of the Lord. The days of ignorance God overlooked but once revelation comes, growth and maturity is expected in the long run or else consequences follow. Remember God is not mocked for a whatsoever a man sows that is what he reaps. We serve a progressive God.
