STRENGTH TO THE NEEDY. Click and read.

For thou has been a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall. (Isaiah 25:4)

Chapter 25 of the book of Isaiah is really beautiful. It begins with a declaration in verse one saying,”O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.” It goes on to show various reasons why we will exalt the Lord and praise the Lord. Our interest today is in verse four as written above.

“For thou has been a strength to the needy in his distress.” The Lord is caring and is concerned about the state of His children. He is strength to the needy. It says that our heavenly Father is strength to those in need. It did not stop at the need part put also is interested in the distress that comes with overwhelming needs. You will agree with me that in life we all get to various needy states and a sense of helplessness fills your heart. For every time we encounter life’s challenges it is important to note that the Lord will come through and accomplish two things for each need.

First He meets the physically need and secondly He moves on to the emotional side of us. Every time you find yourself in an overwhelming situation the stress on your emotion if not well handled can cause your blood pressure to rise. That emotional state of imbalance can lead to other negatives so the Lord releases a total need-meeting package to keep us close to Him and ultimately bring back the glory to Him. Hallelujah!

“A refuge from the storm, a shadow from heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.” He is a total God. He is undeniably the best thing that can happen to anyone that trusts Him in all things. Whether it is a storm like situation, He will be a refuge in the storm, a shadow from the heat (He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty). When the wicked blasts of the enemy come raging, the Lord is there to be a shield and your deliverer. I pray that you will walk continually with this understanding daily and know the direction to seek help when in need and distress. Bless you!

DECREE A THING. Clck and read

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. (Job 22:28)

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee:” The words of this verse give us rights to become certified law makers or do I say legislators. That is nice if you ask me. The mandate is as clear as you are reading it. The benefit of any decree you open your mouth to make will be established. Our heavenly Father loves us enough to give us a position that enables us exercise levels of authority. There are situations in our lives we come across as we go through life that negates the promises we can access as declared in His word. When we see such situations it is expected that we as God’s children should make a decree and set in motion the Lord’s words to accomplish what we desire. The word of God is our guide on the decrees we can make.

I am excited to know that I am empowered to make decrees that will be established. But for the manifestations of my desire to be, I must open my mouth and decree. Not complain or whine rather the instruction is decree. You know there are times when life’s experiences seemingly overwhelm you to the point of being speechless. But it is in those times that your mouth must open and make a decree. The circumstance can be so bad that you shift your focus on the potency of His word and begin to exalt the present negative situation you are faced with. God our Father takes time to equip us to stand up and show where our confidence lies when faced with challenges.

“And the light shall shine upon thy ways.” The beauty of making a decree is that the light shall shine upon thy way. Your decree is the road under construction for your blessings and manifestations to pass through and arrive at your door for your favour to manifest. God’s light shines upon like the coal tar and solidifies the road you desire. God’s light will beautify our desires when they manifest. The path of the righteous is as a shining light that shines brighter unto a perfect day. Beloved open your mouth and decree then wait patiently for the Lord to bring it to pass. Remember God’s word does not return void. Walk in the confidence of God’s light. Bless you.

HE MELTS HIS WORD. Click and read

He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow and the waters to flow. (Psalm 147:18)

Beautiful people we continue to see the beauty and orderliness of our God as we read His word continually. Our God has ability to send His word out on an errand to accomplish whatsoever He desires in whatever location without limitation. It clearly indicates that He has His eyes on all and desires that we move around with the consciousness that He is our rare guide. His vigilante method is unquestionable. He is not like a security outfit that requires a CCTV arrangement to keep up with every location in case they fall asleep or have to move around or even move away briefly for lunch break. Hallelujah!

“He sendeth out his word, and melteth them:” It is amazing to encounter the realization that God not only sends His word but He is also very observant to take note of the best form to send the word. The bible says he melts His words. Melting speaks of simplifying. Melting indicates a change in the previous state has occurred. For example, ice block melts to become liquid form of water. Precious stones and metals are melted and poured into the form of the container the smelter would want to form them. So also I say to you that read that our God is careful to melt his word to right state that fits your situation in the name of Jesus. It does not matter the distance. He will cause it to flow to your direction and meet you at the very point of your need.

“He causeth his wind to blow and the waters to flow.” Yes He is the One that causes His wind to blow. The wind belongs to Him and He gives it direction. He causes water to flow. “The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. (Psalm 29:3-4)”. This revelation in His word should set you in a great mood already because you have just come to appreciate your heavenly Father much more. It is well with you.

ICE LIKE MORSELS. Click and read.

He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow and the waters to flow. He showeth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgements unto Israel. (Psalm 147: 17-19)

“He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?” Our God is awesome. Sending down snow is no difficult thing for him. Have you watched the snow fall in winter? It is like little flakes sprinkled down from the heavens yet the quantity fills the entire region. Its presence is undeniable and its impact to life is clearly not easy to ignore. I am yet to see anyone who can go out without thick or even double clothing in winter. It is the Lord that throws it down like little pieces of bread. The Lord is amazing. Truly who can stand his cold?

“He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow and the waters to flow.” The Almighty himself sends his word in any direction whenever and wherever he wants it to go. The bible declares that God sent his word and his word healed and delivered. He is God that declares that he sends his word and it accomplishes the purpose for which he sends it and it the word sent does not have capacity to return void. Hallelujah! It gets more exciting. The Lord himself melts his word. No matter how hard his word appears the Lords releases revelation knowledge visa the Holy Spirit so that the word is liquid enough for our understanding. Remember the entrance of His word brings light and gives understanding.

“He causeth his wind to blow and the waters to flow.” It is the Lord that causes the wind to blow. No one can control the wind nor can anyone stop the wind blowing. He causes water to flow in various directions. It is He that gives the seas its boundaries. Admire the beautiful flow of a waterfall. It is truly breathtaking.

“He showeth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgements unto Israel.” This part of the verse is interesting. The Lord shows Jacob the known supplanter his word but unto Israel God shows his statutes and judgement. Wow! The Lord went all out to give Jacob an encounter to draw him close then changed his name to Israel. By virtue of Jacob’s encounter and past experiences, the Lord no longer expected certain levels of ignorance as Israel grew in the knowledge of the Lord. The days of ignorance God overlooked but once revelation comes, growth and maturity is expected in the long run or else consequences follow. Remember God is not mocked for a whatsoever a man sows that is what he reaps. We serve a progressive God.

HIS WORD RUNS SWIFTLY. Click and read

He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth swiftly. He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. (Psalm 147:15-16)

“He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth:” Wow! Our God is awesome indeed. He is the God that sends His commandment upon the earth. Remember that He sends forth His word and it does not return back to the Lord void without accomplishing the purpose for which the word was sent. The earth was formed by the words of the Lord and the principles He released are still in place till date. The seas maintain its boundaries. The clouds move in the skies and only fall as rain when the time is right. The sun is still in its place and also the moon is still in its place. The principle of seedtime and harvest are still in place. Truly our God is great.

“His word runneth swiftly.” I love this description of God’s word. The word of the Lord runs and not just that it runs but the degree of movement is swift. I am already excited knowing that the words of my heavenly Father have ability to run. It means that wherever I find myself and need His word to guide me right, his Word will run in my direction. His word is swift. The word swift means fast and quick. Have you seen a horse in a race? The movement is unequalled. God’s word is fast and quick.

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful. And shaper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrew 4:12)

God’s word is yea and amen. His word is dependable. Do you know that if God’s word is swift, then we all need to search His word always so that His word will dwell in us? This important so that when we find ourselves in any unpalatable state, we can speak out the word and help will come swiftly. Hallelujah!  So no matter where you are presently. You need to speak the Word of God and He will step into your matter in Jesus name. Bless you.
