KEEP YOUR MIND STAYED ON HIM

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength. (Isaiah 26: 3-4)

Peace is the desire of every man and woman. Nobody likes turmoil around them for any reason. When a heart is troubled, restlessness takes over the entirety of the being and the person gets edgy and aggressive. Today the Lord is speaking to our hearts and telling us the responsibility He has taken up concerning anyone whose mind is stayed in Him.

It is God himself that will keep him or her in perfect peace. That means that anything that is a representation of the embodiment of perfect peace is what the Lord guarantees. God promises perfect peace with nothing missing. The peace that comes from God has no shortfall of any sort. The reason God will keep you in perfect peace is tied to the fact that you trust in Him. The bible says that he that comes to God must first believe that God is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

 
In order to buttress the need for our trust; verse 4 goes on to tell us something very catchy. “Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” (I think you should shout hallelujah at this point). Clearly we see that part of the composition of our God is everlasting strength. The main strength that can stand the test of time is found in God. Remember no man can prevail by his own strength. Without a doubt I can attest to the fact that I will willingly attach myself to One who can make everlasting strength available to me. What about you?
