MY STRENGTH AND MY SONG

The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is the tabernacle of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly. (Psalm 118:14-15)

An event is a notable occurrence. Events provoke rejoicing when its impact is positive. However when the consequences are negative or painful the experience is usually not easy to take in. The things that we go through and come out of are simply events. These events reveal the acts of God that stir our hearts to rejoice in Him and be grateful for what he does. God will always show you reasons to praise Him. Remember He inhabits our praise (He lives in it). The Lord is our strength – he is our enabler, he is our propelling force for achievement. When there is strength to accomplish a thing, a song breaks out at the sight of the accomplishment. As long as God is our strength, we can always accomplish and invariably have a song to sing always. Amen!

The experiences during these events can be seen as a good thing or bad depending on one’s perspective of things. The Lord will always allow us go to through different stages. We are to come out better and stronger. When we come out of any trying situation we are forced into singing the beautiful song of deliverance giving God all the glory. The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

Hallelujah!
