MY FEET IN A LARGE ROOM. Click and read.

I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou considered my trouble; thou has known my soul in adversities. And has not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou has set my feet in a large room. (Psalm 31: 7-8)

“I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy” That is the testimony of David. This declaration is also ours to partake in. We will be glad and rejoice in the Lord’s mercy because the mercy of the Lord is something we enjoy freely without Him asking us to pay for it. The bible declares in the book of Lamentations chapter 3 verses 22-23 that it is because of the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed because His compassions fail not. His mercy is new every morning.

“For thou considered my trouble; thou has known my soul in adversities.” God is full of compassion for us His children. I like choice of words as the verse continues. For the Lord considered my trouble. “To consider” means to think about something carefully especially in order to make a decision. We know David’s story on different occasions. Sometimes he found himself in trouble he caused by himself. Whichever the case the Lord takes time to consider us in love and bring deliverance our way. “Thou has known my soul in adversities.” God knows our innermost thoughts and disposition at all times even in adversity. We know that true character is revealed in time of adversity.

“And has not shut me up into the hand of the enemy:” Our God is our shield and buckler. He will not allow the enemy to take over our lives. He is still Omnipotent; He is the El-Shaddai. When the Lord delivers it is very clear that He alone has done this great work of deliverance.

“Thouhas set my feet in a large room.” That is one continuous desire I have and would love to make. Imagine it for a while. After all of we’ve experienced in different areas of our lives the Lord has a plan to set our feet in a large room. “To set” means to put something or someone in a particular place or position. Who better than the Lord to know the best place or position He wants us to occupy? A large room is His choice. Not a small room. A large room speaks of a room that has a lot of space. Obviously it is not a place where people collide into each other for want of space. A room with limited space will contain little. Imagine having a crowded room, the air in the room will become stuffy after a while. A room is bordered by walls. Walls protect.

Lord set our feet in a large room in Jesus name.

Lord give us an idea that will create space large enough to become our niche in Jesus name.
Lord protect that which You have given us with a wall of protection in Jesus name.
