Bring ye all the tithes
into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and prove me now
herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven,
and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
(Malachi 3:10)
Every believer knows about tithe; even those who are not believers. God took time to give instruction on the issue of tithe. The thing is that according to economics, man’s needs are insatiable so naturally the tendency to omit God from our list is there but as believers we must understand that God is our source, our author and introducing him to our finances helps.
It shows our commitment to his house and gives him room to bless. He says he will pour a blessing. Something that is poured takes the shape of the container it is poured into. The blessing he pours has the ability to take the shape of any situation we encounter. Trust God.
